Celebrating Our CISO: Matthew's Decade

The 14 March marked a special milestone as Matthew Luckins, our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), celebrates his 10 years of service at Conister Bank.
Matthew joined the business in 2016 as an IT Network Engineer and has since played a key role in shaping how the Bank approaches security, risk, and resilience. His career progression reflects both the pace of change in the technology landscape and the growing importance of information security within the organisation.
Exciting Changes Are Underway at Conister Bank
Work is now underway on the refurbishment of our ground‑floor office, an investment focused on improving the experience our customers have when they visit us.
At Conister Bank, Customer First means designing our services, spaces and ways of working around the needs of our customers. This refurbishment is a practical example of that commitment, creating a larger, more welcoming and more functional environment so our teams can serve you better.
To allow work to begin, our reception team has temporarily relocated to the first floor of Clarendon House, alongside our sister company Edgewater. During this time, it is very much business as usual. All services remain fully available, and our team is here to help as always.

Driving Change: Conister Bank Donates Minibus to The Children’s Centre
Conister Bank has strengthened its long-standing partnership with The Children’s Centre by donating a brand-new 9-seater Renault Traffic minibus - the largest corporate contribution the charity has received.
Sparked by a conversation during Conister’s charity week, and brought to life through teamwork and community collaboration with Ocean Motor Village, the donation ensures that children and families can continue accessing the Centre’s vital support services.
The new minibus arrives as a timely lifeline, helping The Children’s Centre stay mobile, responsive, and able to deliver its life-changing programmes across the Island.

The annual Three Ministers Breakfast, proudly sponsored by Conister Bank, brought together leaders from across the Isle of Man’s business community for a morning of clarity, candour, and collaboration. With fewer than twelve months left in the current administration, this year’s event carried a sharpened sense of purpose — and the discussion did not disappoint.
Moderated by Claire Watterson, President of the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce, the session featured direct and insightful updates from the Chief Minister, the Minister for Enterprise, and the Minister for Justice & Home Affairs, covering the island’s economic outlook, infrastructure, regulatory priorities, and the pathway toward future growth.
Celebrating 90 Years of Supporting Sight on the Isle of Man
