Hundreds of walkers will once again cross the Island this September as the Ivan Soulsbury Coast 2 Coast Walk returns, with Conister Bank supporting the feat for a fifth year.
Returning on 6 September, the popular community event brings together people from across the Island for a walk that combines wellbeing, community spirit and fundraising.
Participants can take on the full 12-mile route from the National Sports Centre in Douglas to Peel, following the former railway line through some of the Island’s most scenic countryside. A shorter 3-mile route from St John’s is also available, making the event accessible to walkers of all ages and abilities.
At Conister Bank, we believe strong communities are built when people come together for a common purpose. The Coast 2 Coast Walk is a great example of that in action, bringing people together in support of a local charity that makes a meaningful difference to lives across the Island.
Douglas Grant, Managing Director of Conister Bank, said:
"This is the kind of event that reflects the Island at its best. People coming together, supporting one another, and giving their time for a good cause. Sight Matters plays a vital role in our community, and we’re proud to support the walk again this year."
Registration is now open, and you can get involved by clicking here!
We look forward to another memorable walk!
