Victoria discusses just how Conister’s BIG career really did create a new career opportunity for her!

When did you join Conister Bank? 

I joined the Conister just over two years ago, as the first person to take part in ‘Conister BIG Career’. This role involved a training program to work within all departments of the business whilst gaining qualifications in my chosen area, which turned out to be Marketing.

I am now a full-time member of the Marketing Team.

What Qualifications have you achieved? 

I was lucky enough to have been allocated study time to complete my Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing and Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing. 

I received fantastic support throughout from the business and I am ecstatic that I now have an industry recognised undergraduate degree equivalent.

How has this helped your career and personal development?

What didn’t I get out of it??? Although it was tough at times, I am more than happy to say that this has been the best experience, not only career-wise but also for my personal growth. 

The ability to study is something that I am passionate about and this opportunity has given me direction, helping to shape my future. I have always wanted to pursue a Marketing career and Conister Bank made this possible.  

What is your favourite thing about Conister? 

Conister really has changed my life! I have had so many growth opportunities, and of course, the people are my favourite part, you feel that you have become a part of a tight-knit family! I am encouraged to think independently, and hard work is rewarded but ultimately, it’s a great feeling knowing that you are part of a successful team where your opinion matters.
