Recognising Leadership Across the Isle of Man

The Institute of Directors Isle of Man Director of the Year Awards 2026 was a true celebration of leadership in all its forms. 

A particular highlight of the evening was the Public and Third Sector Director of the Year category, presented by Head of Marketing and Communications, Kerry Waddington. This is an award Conister are very proud to support, as it recognises individuals whose work is often delivered quietly, but whose impact is felt widely across our communities. 

It is a category that speaks to a different kind of leadership. One built on consistency, care and long‑term contribution, rather than visibility alone. 

Recognition at Conister Bank 

On the evening, Haseeb Qureshi, Executive Director, was recognised as a finalist in the Large Business category. 

To be shortlisted among such a respected group of directors reflects the strength and consistency of his leadership, and the contribution made across the wider organisation.
