Creating a Better Space to Put Customers First
Work is now underway on the refurbishment of our ground‑floor office, an investment focused on improving the experience our customers have when they visit us.
At Conister Bank, Customer First means designing our services, spaces and ways of working around the needs of our customers. This refurbishment is a practical example of that commitment, creating a larger, more welcoming and more functional environment so our teams can serve you better.
To allow work to begin, our reception team has temporarily relocated to the first floor of Clarendon House, alongside our sister company Edgewater. During this time, it is very much business as usual. All services remain fully available, and our team is here to help as always.
Why We’re Refurbishing
Our customers deserve a banking experience that is clear, comfortable and easy from the moment they walk through the door.
This refurbishment is about removing friction from the in‑branch experience and creating an environment that supports better service, including:
- A more open and customer‑focused reception area
- Improved private meeting spaces for confidential conversations
- A modern layout designed around accessibility, comfort and efficiency
By improving our physical environment, we are making it easier for our teams to collaborate, respond quickly and focus on what matters most by delivering reliable, personal service to our customers.
This is a significant project, and even in the early stages the transformation is already taking shape. Walls have been removed, layouts are opening up, and the scale of the improvement is becoming clear.

Business as Usual (Just One Floor Up)
While refurbishment work continues:
- All services remain fully operational
- Our team is temporarily based on the first floor (Edgewater reception)

Supporting the Community Along the Way
As part of our commitment to acting responsibly, we donated a range of office furniture to local Manx charities ahead of the refurbishment. These items will continue to support the community while we invest in improving our space for customers and colleagues.
