Giving back to our community is part of who we are. In 2025, Conister Bank proudly supported charities, organisations, and individuals across the Isle of Man through fundraising, sponsorships, and volunteering. Here’s a snapshot of the difference we made together:
Our 2025 Highlights:
Championing Agriculture
Headlining the Royal Manx Agricultural Show was a huge highlight, celebrating the heart of Island life. Alongside this flagship event, we also supported traditions like the Young Farmers Tractor Run and more.
Supporting Local Charities
The Children’s Centre – As part of our ongoing support for The Children's Centre, Team Purple came together for The Honey Project Part 2 - a true summer highlight! We also engaged in various initiatives, such as the annual School Uniform Drive.
Sight Matters – From the Coast2Coast Walk to Bright4Sight Day, we helped raise awareness and funds for the visually impaired community.
Isle Listen - Mental health matters. We proudly supported Isle Listen through a charity raffle and featuring their critical work at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show.
Manx Mencap - We joined 'Rock Your Socks' in March, raising awareness for Manx Mencap and their incredible work. Later in the year, we were proud to fund a special day out for their popular TAG group (Teenage Activity Group), giving 15 young people and their parents/carers the chance to enjoy a typical day together, something that can often bring many challenges.
As one parent shared: “Seeing my son smile, laugh, interact and communicate was worth its weight in gold. Love the TAG group. Thank you to everyone for an amazing day!”
Empowering Local Business
We continued to support the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce and celebrated excellence through the Elevate You Awards, helping local business professionals thrive.
Backing Local Talent
From sponsoring Island Games athletes, including Conister Bank’s very own Lee Gale, to supporting the Rotary Young Photographer of Mann Awards, we gladly helped shine a light on local talent.
Championing Heritage & ESG
From backing sustainability-focused initiatives with the Manx Wildlife Trust for IIEM25 to supporting heritage events like the Port Erin Beach Festival and The Great Laxey Duck Race, we’re committed to preserving our Island’s culture and environment.
