At Conister Bank, we’re proud to be part of Manx Financial Group (“MFG”), and we’re pleased to share that 2025 has been another positive year for the Group.
For our customers, this means continued strength, stability, and the ability for us to keep supporting individuals and businesses across the Isle of Man and the UK.
A stable and growing Group
MFG delivered a resilient performance in 2025, with steady growth across its core businesses.
- Customer deposits increased by 12% to £452.5 million
- Net interest income increased by 14% to £37.5 million
- Operating profit increased by 26% to £21.7 million
- Net assets increased by 17% to £43.6 million
These results reflect a well-balanced business and a careful, disciplined approach to growth - helping to ensure the Group remains strong and well-positioned for the future.
Conister Bank’s performance in 2025
Conister Bank continues to play a central role within the Group, supporting customers across both the Isle of Man and the UK, while also contributing meaningfully to overall performance.
In 2025, the Bank delivered:
- A loan book of £407 million, reflecting sustained demand for lending
- Operating profit of £22. million, demonstrating strong underlying performance
This highlights the strength of Conister Bank’s model: combining local expertise with access to opportunities across the wider UK market.
Looking ahead: supporting growth on the Isle of Man and in the UK
With strong foundations in place, Conister Bank is well positioned for the future.
On the Isle of Man, we remain committed to supporting local businesses and contributing to the wider economy - continuing our long-standing role as a dependable lending partner.
In the UK, we continue to build on our established presence, working with intermediaries and specialist lenders to reach businesses across a wide range of sectors.
Across both markets, our focus remains on:
- Providing straightforward, accessible lending
- Supporting SMEs and specialist sectors
- Building long-term relationships with customers and partners
- Responding flexibly as customer needs evolve
As part of MFG, we are also benefiting from continued investment in new capabilities and future growth opportunities, helping us to expand what we offer while maintaining our core strengths.

Supporting growth across the Group
- Alongside Conister Bank, other Group businesses have continued to perform strongly.
- Payment Assist, the Group’s UK automotive finance provider, delivered strong growth in 2025, with advances increasing to £219.7 million and a customer base exceeding 1.5 million.
- Manx Ventures continues to support diversification and long-term value creation through its portfolio of strategic investments.
