Laura celebrates 10 Years at Conister Bank!

How long have you worked for Conister Bank?

I’ve been working at Conister Bank for 10 years and my role is diverse, challenging at times but also very rewarding. My Conister family has been very loyal and witnessed my personal growth to becoming a wife and mum.

How did your Conister Bank journey begin?

I began my Conister journey in a dual role supporting both the Underwriting and Debt Recovery teams. I joined the Underwriting team full time, ultimately shaping my career to the role I hold today.

Conister Bank has been brilliant at fostering a productive environment where I can contribute. They have always provided plenty of opportunities and I have felt supported as they have enabled my career progression.

What has made you stay at Conister?

My current role is very different from when I started. This is something that I love about Conister!  As the business has grown, so has my knowledge and experience, and I now manage the monitoring of our Wholesale Portfolio.

I have always had the opportunity to develop as we have an extremely diverse range of experience and expertise within the organisation. Identifying and nurturing talent and presenting plenty of opportunities from within is integrated into Conister’s business processes and strategies.

What are you looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to seeing the continued growth of Conister Bank and supporting the business to achieve a sustainable and resilient future. I am thrilled to being part of this exciting journey as Conister paves the way to put itself at the forefront of Green Finance initiatives on the island. Making the Isle of Man a better place to live and work is certainly something that I want to be part of!
